Ask before entering details
A birth date, time, and place can be personal information. Tell the other person what the tool does, what it does not do, and where the result will be stored before you enter it.
AstroEW requires a confirmation checkbox, but a checkbox is not a substitute for a real conversation. Either person can decline or ask to delete the local result.
Agree on the purpose
- Use the report for learning, reflection, or a conversation you both want to have.
- Do not use it to rank, screen, diagnose, pressure, monitor, or make employment or financial decisions about someone.
- Do not share screenshots or exports that reveal another person’s details without their permission.
- Keep the report alongside real communication, not in place of it.
Read the evidence together
Invite the other person to say what feels useful, incomplete, or wrong. The report names its source fields so you can discuss a signal without pretending the interpretation is objective fact.
When a pattern feels uncomfortable, return to a specific behaviour and a shared boundary. A symbolic label should never be used to excuse harm or remove accountability.
A respectful closing ritual
- Ask whether both people want to save the chart or delete it after the conversation.
- Write one agreed question or experiment, not a verdict about the relationship.
- Export a backup only if the owner of the information wants one.
- Revisit the question through lived experience, not repeated checking of the chart.
