1. Scope and contact
This policy explains how AstroEW handles information when you visit astroew.com, read the learning library, or use the chart and comparison tools. For a privacy question, contact hello@astroew.com or use the contact page.
2. No account and no chart upload
You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email address to create a chart. Chart inputs and results are calculated in your browser. AstroEW does not currently operate a user-account system, save chart profiles on a server, or place complete birth details in a public URL.
3. Local charts, notes, and backups
If you choose Save, the chart, its input details, and your private palace notes are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not automatically synced. Clearing site data, private browsing, changing browser profiles or devices, or storage limits can remove them. Export a backup for portability; AstroEW does not receive its contents.
4. Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive the address, message, and information you choose to include. Do not send complete birth details or health, financial, identity, or other sensitive information.
5. Technical data, cookies, and advertising
The current site does not require non-essential cookies to create a chart. Hosting systems may process limited technical logs for security and service delivery. Before analytics, embedded media, or Google AdSense is enabled, this policy will identify providers, purposes, cookie categories, retention, and controls. Where required, consent will be collected before non-essential cookies or personalised ads are activated.
6. Retention, security, and international processing
Local chart data remains until you delete it or the browser removes it. We use reasonable safeguards for information under our control, but no browser, email, or internet transmission is guaranteed secure.
7. Your choices and rights
You can export or delete local charts and notes from the chart page, clear AstroEW site data, decline optional inputs, and avoid sending email. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of information AstroEW controls.
8. Children and policy changes
AstroEW is a general-audience educational service and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their location. Material changes will be dated and explained before new data practices begin.
